A Son's Sacrifice follows the journey of Imran, a young American Muslim who struggles to take over his father's halal slaughterhouse in Queens. A first-generation American, Imran must confront his mixed heritage and gain acceptance from his father's immigrant community at the traditional storefront slaughterhouse. On the holiest day of the year, Imran must lead a sacrifice that will define him as a Muslim, as an American, and as a son.

YONI BROOK is an independent filmmaker and photojournalist in New York City. Brook has worked for The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Seattle Times, and The (Memphis) Commercial Appeal. Brook's work from inside the World Trade Center site on 9/11 received photojournalism's highest honors at the Pictures of the Year International and the Best of Photojournalism competitions. A Son's Sacrifice was selected for an Open Call production license and will air nationally on PBS.

The Rush system functions as a standby line that will form at the venue approximately one hour prior to scheduled start time. Admittance is based on availability and will begin roughly 10 minutes prior to program start time. Rush Tickets are the same price as advance tickets and are payable upon entry.
